Recentemente vem se consolidando a atividade do Geoturismo, que em cidades \u00e9 conhecido como Geoturismo Urbano. Assim, a presente pesquisa buscou conhecer se h\u00e1 um potencial geoturista urbano no munic\u00edpio. A metodologia considerou na etapa de escrit\u00f3rio revis\u00e3o de literatura e elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de tr\u00eas instrumentos de coleta de dados (formul\u00e1rios estruturados qualitativos); e na etapa de campo entrevista remota (Google Forms) a amostra de 125 atores locais, sendo: 31 pesquisadores (de Patrim\u00f4nio Geol\u00f3gico e de Turismo), 92 estudantes de cursos superiores (Engenharia Geol\u00f3gica, Geografia e Turismo) e 2 guias de turismo de Ouro Preto. Como resultado observou-se que: h\u00e1 potenciais geoturistas urbanos para o destino; t\u00eam elevado n\u00edvel e renda mensal; motiva\u00e7\u00e3o mineral\u00f3gica, arquitet\u00f4nica, geomorfol\u00f3gica, unidades de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, arqueol\u00f3gica e compras (artesanato); e propostas de roteiros geotur\u00edsticos com tem\u00e1ticas de geomorfologia, mineralogia, hist\u00f3ria da minera\u00e7\u00e3o, petrografia e arqueol\u00f3gico. Os pesquisadores podem ser considerados \u201cgeoturistas dedicados\u201d, os guias de turismo \u201cgeoturistas recreacionais\u201d e os estudantes um meio-termo entre ambos. Espera-se que esta demanda potencial integre o conhecimento do mercado tur\u00edstico ouro-pretano, servindo para a formata\u00e7\u00e3o e comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o de roteiros por ag\u00eancias receptivas e acompanhamento por guias de turismo de Ouro Preto e, sobremaneira, fortalecendo o reconhecimento do geoturismo como segmento tur\u00edstico.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
