H\u00e1 segmentos j\u00e1 reconhecidos, como Ecoturismo e Turismo Cultural, o&nbsp;Geoturismo surge como uma proposta de um novo segmento, que valoriza os&nbsp;patrim\u00f4nios natural e cultural, por meio de visita e interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de atrativos abi\u00f3ticos.&nbsp;Neste sentido, prop\u00f5e-se a discuss\u00e3o do Geoturismo enquanto segmento tur\u00edstico&nbsp;sob os ausp\u00edcios do marco te\u00f3rico do Minist\u00e9rio do Turismo (MTUR). Para tanto foi&nbsp;realizada pesquisa bibliogr\u00e1fica e documental das express\u00f5es \u201cgeoturismo\u201d e \u201csegmento&nbsp;tur\u00edstico\u201d em produ\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas e t\u00e9cnicas nas plataformas Google Scholar, Scopus&nbsp;e Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Disserta\u00e7\u00f5es. Os resultados demonstram que:&nbsp;n\u00e3o h\u00e1 um consenso entre estudiosos do Geoturismo se \u00e9 um segmento tur\u00edstico, mas&nbsp;os pressupostos do MTUR d\u00e3o subs\u00eddios para que seja reconhecido e priorit\u00e1rio nas&nbsp;pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de regionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e sustentabilidade no futuro. Recomenda-se a&nbsp;constru\u00e7\u00e3o de uma rede integrada de oferta e demanda geotur\u00edstica, em n\u00edveis local,&nbsp;regional e nacional, para que o Geoturismo seja elencado e validado como segmento&nbsp;tur\u00edstico, por meio de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que estimulem mais estudos, em especial&nbsp;relacionados \u00e0 sua comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o e perfil da demanda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
