Como objetivos espec\u00edficos, o artigo em quest\u00e3o se prop\u00f4s analisar a relev\u00e2ncia da gastronomia, considerando os aspectos, significados e as experi\u00eancias ofertadas ao turista. Buscou-se entender como Minas Gerais inovou, apostando na gastronomia como elemento de diversifica\u00e7\u00e3o da oferta e da promo\u00e7\u00e3o tur\u00edstica e identificou ainda as a\u00e7\u00f5es e os projetos governamentais existentes no estado, voltados para a promo\u00e7\u00e3o da gastronomia no cen\u00e1rio mineiro. A metodologia deste estudo de abordagem qualitativa baseou-se na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisa bibliogr\u00e1fica, a qual investigou e analisou os conceitos que perpassam a gastronomia e a promo\u00e7\u00e3o tur\u00edstica partindo de consultas de fontes bibliogr\u00e1ficas prim\u00e1rias e secund\u00e1rias, os dados coletados foram analisados por meio da an\u00e1lise de conte\u00fado. A partir disso, foi poss\u00edvel observar que a gastronomia contribui para a integra\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento regional por meio do incentivo ao turismo, devido \u00e0 experi\u00eancia proporcionada aos visitantes, os quais al\u00e9m de vivenciarem as etapas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o artesanalmente, conhecem a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o local e o modo de vida da comunidade. Tal viv\u00eancia se apresenta como um produto gastron\u00f4mico formatado e comercializado, com potencial para o desenvolvimento econ\u00f4mico por meio do turismo. Constatou-se ainda a aplicabilidade de estrat\u00e9gias de promo\u00e7\u00e3o utilizadas tanto pela SECULT-MG quanto por outros \u00f3rg\u00e3os p\u00fablicos, objetivando divulgar a gastronomia mineira, por meio de eventos gastron\u00f4micos, planos e programas, a\u00e7\u00f5es de press trips e feiras de
