O tema em quest\u00e3o foi escolhido devido \u00e0 inten\u00e7\u00e3o de fortalecer as discuss\u00f5es sobre gest\u00e3o p\u00fablica do turismo, compreendendo esse tema como de suma import\u00e2ncia nos estudos sobre turismo.\u00a0Para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do trabalho foram realizadas pesquisas bibliogr\u00e1ficas referentes aos temas pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas, gest\u00e3o p\u00fablica e planejamento regional, al\u00e9m de reconhecimento quanto \u00e0 Pol\u00edtica de Circuitos Tur\u00edsticos; e pesquisa de campo, nessa \u00faltima foram aplicadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas ao representante da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o e respons\u00e1veis pelo turismo nos munic\u00edpios membros da mesma. Considerou-se que a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Regional do Circuito Tur\u00edstico das \u00c1guas n\u00e3o tem alcan\u00e7ado desenvolvimento satisfat\u00f3rio do turismo regional e que a mesma n\u00e3o tem cumprido as diretrizes propostas pela Pol\u00edtica de Circuitos da Secretaria de Estado de Turismo de Minas Gerais. A partir de tal conclus\u00e3o foram apresentadas sugest\u00f5es a fim de ampliar as possibilidades de \u00eaxito na gest\u00e3o do Circuito Tur\u00edstico das \u00c1guas.<\/p><div title=\"\"
